In Mexico, homeownership is just a dream for many due to the high cost of housing, especially in urban areas. Families with low incomes, particularly single mothers, face significant challenges in securing quality, affordable homes. For people who do own homes, extensive repairs due to poor maintenance and limited space are also costly. On top of this, access to financing for buying a home or renovating is a major hurdle.

Solviing, a social enterprise in Mexico, tackles these issues head-on by providing affordable, pre-owned housing solutions. Their mission is to empower individuals with lower incomes to purchase, sell, and finance homes that fit their financial realities. Solviing offers economical housing options, streamlines processes, and presents flexible financial choices through a user-friendly platform, making the search for affordable housing quicker and easier.
With over a decade of experience in addressing housing challenges, Solviing also supports families in improving their living conditions and increasing the value of their properties. They do this by offering financing for home repairs, expansions, and renovations.
Beyond housing, Solviing's social programs foster community integration. These initiatives include playrooms, renovations, and parks to enhance residents' quality of life. By focusing on the State of Mexico and Nuevo León, two of the nation's most populous regions, Solviing reaches a significant portion of the low-income population, providing much-needed support and opportunities.

Solviing is committed to ensuring that more families can achieve the stability and security of homeownership, and its goal is to expand operations to 12 key cities across Mexico. During the Mexico Accelerator Programme, we'll support Solviing in developing strategies to attract additional business partners and funders. We're excited to support Solviing as it addresses Mexico's affordable housing crisis, transforms lives and builds stronger communities.
