In this chapter we describe how we process your personal information in our IKEA store in Delft. Please note that all other stores in the Netherlands and the website www.ikea.com/nl are owned by our franchisee IKEA BV. Check their privacy statement on www.ikea.com/nl to read more about how IKEA BV processes your personal information.
1. Purchase in the store
When you buy a product or service at our IKEA store in Delft, we record the transaction so we can complete your order. If you scan your IKEA FAMILY card, we link the purchase to your account. This allows you to benefit from advantages that come with being an IKEA FAMILY member.
If you use one of our services -like kitchen installation, wardrobe assembly, or home delivery- we collect your address, email address, and phone number. We need this information to schedule appointments and keep you informed. Sometimes we share your details with service providers who carry out the work for us, such as delivery companies. They only receive the information they need to do the job and are not allowed to use it for anything else or share it with others.
If you use a means of transport through our store, such as a trailer, this is arranged via our partner Freetrailer. You provide your personal information directly to them, and we do not receive any of it. For more details on how Freetrailer handles your data, please visit their website.
We use your personal data to complete your purchase, provide services, communicate with you about appointments and to improve our store and our services. We base our processing primarily on the legal ground of performance of an agreement. When we use your data to improve our store and our services, we do so based on our legitimate interest.
We keep your purchase data for seven years to comply with tax laws. Data we use to analyze shopping behavior is kept for two years. Information related to services provided is kept only as long as needed to provide the service and follow up if necessary.
2. IKEA Product Planner
Before making a purchase, you may want to use one of our planning tools. Some of these tools allow you to save your design and generate a unique code to retrieve it later. This process is entirely anonymous.
In certain planning tools, you also have the option to email the code to yourself, so you don’t need to remember it. If you choose this option, we will temporarily store your email address solely for the purpose of sending you the code. We retain your email address for one week, after which it is automatically deleted. This processing is based on our legitimate interest
3. IKEA FAMILY

6. Spelen in Småland
10. IKEA for Business
