High-end shoe production and sales, supporting workforce development and employee livelihood in Ethiopia

ENZI manufactures high-end footwear in Ethiopia that seeks to challenge global perceptions of Africa through its manufacturing and design.

Produced by local artisans, ENZI invests in training for the staff and looks to develop the whole value chain. It aims to showcase Ethiopia’s leather qualities and its approach as a replicable model for Africa to do the same with its commodities.

 

We have had a great product and story from the start. The path to scaling was a bit vague for me. This program has shown me the clear steps I need to take, and given me the tools to achieve them.
