CVPAfrica accelerates sustainable development in Africa by fostering partnerships to scale businesses and create jobs for youth and women

Africa faces significant challenges in creating sustainable employment, particularly for youth and women. Despite the continent's vast potential, unemployment remains high, made worse by the disconnect between private sector growth and social impact initiatives. The lack of coordinated efforts among stakeholders—private enterprises, civil society, and government—has made progress difficult and limits opportunities for millions of young Africans.

Collaborative Value Partners Africa (CVPAfrica) is not just another social enterprise. Founded by Dr. Wamuyu Mahinda, it has a unique approach to accelerating social change across Africa. CVPAfrica envisions a future where collaboration is the norm, not the exception. The organisation is committed to fostering partnerships that drive systemic change and bring together diverse stakeholders—enterprises, civil society, and communities—under a unified vision to create lasting social impact.

Through its YouthEmploy Africa programme, the organisation harnesses the transformative power of collaboration and co-creation to enable businesses to grow while creating meaningful employment opportunities for Africa's youth and women. By aligning the private sector's goals with society's needs and fostering partnerships grounded in shared value and systemic thinking, CVPAfrica is creating a blueprint for sustainable development that prioritises economic growth and social well-being.
