Everyone deserves meaningful work that allows them grow, develop, and become independent. Still, some people, like those with disabilities, may need more time to enter the job market because of fewer opportunities, prejudice, and other challenges.

Since 1999, CONEXI has worked to make sure everyone has an equal chance to work by helping employers create inclusive and supportive workplaces. They run programmes that prepare people with cognitive disabilities, like autism, for work and help them settle into their jobs. These programmes offer clear guidance for both participants and employers, including training for new tasks, supervision, and information about autism spectrum conditions. This helps employers support participants in using their strengths at work.
Right now, CONEXI works with companies like IKEA, Aluscreen Västerås, and Cajsa's Kitchen. At IKEA, participants can try different roles to discover their skills and interests and plan their next steps. This process helps both participants and employers figure out how to create a workplace that is inclusive and meets both personal and company goals.
CONEXI aims to create lasting, positive change by putting values into action, bringing companies and participants together, and building inclusive workplaces. Their vision is to help employers make everyone feel included and to support people as they start their careers and become part of society.
