FCV Sverige tackles this problem by helping young people feel more motivated and hopeful about the future, using game-based and creative learning tools. Young people help create these tools, making sure they are relevant and engaging. The method brings together game culture, teaching, and guidance in a way that is easy to use, even for those who have had trouble fitting in at school or work.
The idea of “By young people, for young people” is at the heart of what FCV Sverige does. Young adults help design learning tools and lead courses, which build trust and understanding with other young people. FCV Sverige creates game-based resources like board games and digital tools, which are used in guidance sessions, group activities, and workshops. These are not just for fun; they’re made to boost motivation to study, encourage participation, and build confidence for the future.
Independent reviews, including from Mötesplats Social Innovation, show that FCV Sverige’s approach helps young people feel better about themselves, reduces isolation, and creates new opportunities. Internal results also show that most participants continue to further their studies or find jobs after finishing the programmes.
The goal is to expand these methods and tools so that schools, employers, and organisations across Sweden can use them. This will help create more inclusive places where more young people can succeed in school and at work.
Programme support
Through the programme, we’ll support FCV Sverige in scaling sustainably. Together, we’ll work on developing a clear business model, securing financing, and strengthening organisational structure. The programme will also support FCV Sverige in building expertise in sales, technology, and marketing, as well as in forming long-term partnerships. Support in measuring and sharing social impact will also be important for inspiring others and reaching more people.
