The farm manages 1,833 hectares using organic and biodynamic methods, treating the land as a connected ecosystem. This approach helps restore soil, increase biodiversity, and uses natural cycles and composting to improve the land over time.

Juchowo Farm sells organic products grown and made within the Juchowo Rural Project. These include fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy and artisanal cheese, grains, flours, herbal extracts, teas, herbs, spices, honey, and natural preserves. Many of these are known locally as superfoods. The team, which includes seven people from groups at risk of exclusion, sells these products to retailers, wholesalers, farm shops, and through an online store. They also offer catering, lodging, and educational farm stays.

Social inclusion is central to Juchowo Farm’s mission. The Rural Project employs about 150 people, including 98 from marginalised groups, mainly local residents with limited job options and people with disabilities. In 2025, the Vocational Development Centre at Juchowo Farm offered meaningful jobs and practical training to 51 people with significant or moderate disabilities. The farm works closely with the centre, selling all products made there and helping participants gain confidence, learn new skills, and move toward independent employment.

Programme support

Over the next three years in the programme, Juchowo Farm will focus on strengthening its production capacity and deepening its role in revitalising rural communities in northwestern Poland.

NESsT portfolio managers and IKEA co-workers will provide hands-on guidance to help the organisation to build a stronger foundation and prepare to scale.  Juchowo Farm also aims to expand its warehouse and logistics infrastructure, improving storage, processing, and distribution for goods produced across the Rural Project.

By expanding its reach in the organic and biodynamic market, the enterprise aims to create more stable employment pathways for people facing barriers to work, while continuing to restore local ecosystems and rebuild rural livelihoods.
