Simón improves workforce development by developing AI-powered learning solutions for frontline workers.

Latin America’s frontline workers, who play a critical role in retail, logistics, and distribution, face severe educational and professional development barriers. Many lack access to continuous education, limiting their ability to increase productivity, earn higher wages, and grow professionally.

Additionally, companies that rely on frontline workers struggle with inefficiencies in their distribution chains. Retail vendors and micro-merchants, who make up 40% of the region’s traditional retail sector, often lack financial literacy, operational skills, and modern sales strategies, further limiting their economic growth. Simón addresses these issues by providing AI-driven microlearning solutions, making continuous education accessible, engaging, and adaptable for frontline workers. In turn, they improve their performance, income levels, and career mobility.

Simón offers an AI-powered learning platform that features short, TikTok-style, educational capsules designed for workers with a short time to study. The instructional videos use incentives and rewards systems that encourage course completion and application of skills. This gamified learning system increases engagement and knowledge retention. Users can also find personalised learning paths based on their roles and skill gaps.

Programme support

Simón is planning to expand and offer their learning platform for micro-entrepreneurs and informal workers. The expansion will require scaling content generation and automating learning modules. Through the Mexico Accelerator Programme we’ll support Simón refining its scaling strategy so they can attract more investment and improve the platform even further. We look forward to supporting Simón and improving the learning and development opportunities for workers in retail, logistics and distribution.
