Todo Accessible create accessible and inclusive spaces for all people, allowing people of all abilities to navigate and engage in the world independently
In a world designed for the average person, countless people face significant barriers to access, limiting their ability to participate fully in society. In Mexico alone, 70% of people with disabilities are unemployed, not due to a lack of skills but because the built environment, technology, and societal attitudes fail to accommodate their needs. Cultural, physical, and digital barriers not only marginalise people with disabilities but also exclude elderly individuals, people of short stature, and families with young children from leading independent lives.Todo Accessible addresses these widespread issues by creating inclusive, accessible environments where everyone can thrive. With a strong belief that “the more you include, the more you grow,” Todo Accessible is committed to making the world more inclusive for everyone, regardless of their abilities.
The organisation specialises in universal accessibility assessments, digital tool adaptations, and awareness workshops and works to eliminate barriers, whether architectural, cultural, or technological. By promoting “unnoticed accessibility,” Todo Accessible ensures that accessibility features are seamlessly integrated into spaces, allowing people of all abilities to navigate and engage independently. The organisation envisions a future where accessibility is not just an option but a fundamental requirement, transforming “nice-to-have” features into “must-have” standards across industries.
Todo Accessible has assessed over 5 million square metres of space across Mexico and Latin America so far, embedding universal design principles into various environments. A notable achievement is their co-creation of a universal design pilot credit program with the United States Green Building Council, a significant step toward global recognition and implementation of inclusive design practices.
Programme support
Through the Dela programme, Todo Accessible aims to scale its impact, learn from international leaders, and form alliances that can drive greater social change. We look forward to supporting Todo Accessible as it creates spaces for everyone and inspires more organisations to embrace the principles of diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA).
