Last night (March 25) saw the inaugural Catalyst 2030 Awards where IKEA was recognised for its efforts in collaborating with social entrepreneurs across our value chain.
Catalyst 2030 is a global movement of social entrepreneurs and social innovators from all sectors who share the common goal of creating innovative, people-centric approaches to attain the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
IKEA won the corporate award for: its open, collaborative mindset, a deep empathy for social issues and tireless collaboration with social entrepreneurs across the value chain and beyond.
The award was accepted by Jon Abrahamsson Ring, CEO Inter IKEA Group, Åsa Skogström Feldt, Manger IKEA Social Entrepreneurship and Vaishali Misra, Business Leader IKEA Social Entrepreneurship.
Jon added “We are humbled to receive this award on behalf of the whole of IKEA. We dedicate this to the many social entrepreneurs and are inspired by their hard work contributing to a better world. Thank you”
